and the STABILO GREENline
As a family company and a global brand, STABILO has always taken responsibility for people and the environment. This aspect has always been a key priority in our company policy.
The wooden pencils in the STABILO GREENline are produced in accordance with the high standards of the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). We can thus rest assured that the raw wood is being used in an ecologically sustainable way. A real win for us and the environment.
We have put a great deal of effort into developing pens that are largely made from recycled plastics. The STABILO GREENpoint is made up of 87% recycled material, for example, and was therefore the first pen in its class in the world to be certified Cradle-to-Cradle.
Another unique product at STABILO is our STABILO GREENfancy ballpoint pen, whose casing is primarily made of biodegradable plastic, which is composed of sustainable raw materials based on cellulose.
In 2005, STABILO signed a social charter (a global framework agreement between the company, employees and suppliers) with the aim of promoting humane working conditions.
Taking responsibility and thinking for ourselves
In all the company’s subdivisions, STABILO is committed to responsible activities. In our international production plants, we strive to ensure that we handle natural resources extremely conscientiously, save energy and increase recycling quotas.
Good to know: our plant in Weissenburg, Germany is powered 100% by green electricity. And in the new CUBE building at the headquarters in Heroldsberg, Germany, the focus is on sustainability: the data centre is cooled using fresh air and geothermal energy, and the waste heat is used to heat the administration building.
